At Academy Dental Care, we’ve made it our mission to provide our patients with the very best dental care, which is why we’re excited to share that our very own Dr. Gonzales recently visited Utah to attend an incredible two-day seminar, “Icons of Dentistry: A Workshop for Women.” Dr. Gonzales was among only 100 women who were invited to this prestigious seminar and workshop.

The theme for this year’s workshop was compassion, and focused on all the great things women in dentistry bring to the practice, and the problems they face everyday. The event allowed attendees to interact with other strong, talented women in the dental field and inspire others by discussing how to balance work and life, as well as discussing other topics ranging from relationships and work performance to esthetic dentistry and the use of lasers in the field. The workshop also featured keynote speaker, renowned Sociologist and best-selling author, Bertice Berry, PhD.

It was a true honor for Dr. Gonzales to be recognized and awarded this amazing opportunity, and she is excited to bring the knowledge she gained from the workshop back to her patients at Academy Dental Care.
