Helping us further this mission is our newest member—Dr. Shane Krohnfeldt, who joined our team in June 2020.

Originally from a small town called Temecula in Southern California, Dr. Krohnfeldt completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Santa Barbara and later graduated from the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry at the University of the Pacific.

Dr Krohnfeldt then practiced in San Diego, California before meeting our very own Dr. Gonzales through mutual peers in an alumni association. After getting to know her and the mission of Academy Dental Care, Dr. Krohnfeldt decided to trade Southern California for the enchanting Southwest, as he could not pass up the opportunity to move to Albuquerque and join our team!

Dr. Krohnfeldt ultimately made his decision to join Academy Dental Care because of Dr. Gallagher and Dr. Gonzales. He admires their vision and passion for high-quality dentistry and the overall health and well-being of their patients. His goal is to continue to provide this same high-level of care, ensuring patients are comfortable during their visit, achieve and maintain good oral health, and are able to smile confidently!
